The Infinix GT 30 is changing how mobile gamers play, thanks to a feature called the GT Trigger, a pair of capacitive shoulder buttons that bring a console-like feel to a smartphone. As mobile games keep getting more competitive and graphics-heavy, players are always looking for better ways to keep up. This new feature gives them faster, more precise control in matches while also adding extra convenience for daily use.
Seamless actions in games and beyond
For players who spend hours on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Realm of Valor (ROV), or Honor of Kings (HOK), the GT Trigger can make a noticeable difference. Skills and abilities can be assigned to the shoulder buttons, so there’s no need to lift your thumb off the joystick. That quick response can mean everything in a close fight.
It’s just as useful in shooters like PUBG Mobile, BGMI, and FreeFire. Mapping the “shoot” or “scope” controls to the triggers lets players aim and fire more smoothly, making gameplay feel closer to using a controller. The triggers are also tuned for a 520Hz low-latency response, so every tap registers instantly, something competitive gamers will appreciate.

Beyond the gaming arena
What makes the GT Trigger more interesting is how it fits into everyday use. Outside of gaming, it can be customized for shortcuts such as snapping photos, toggling the flashlight, switching to silent mode, or opening apps with a single press.
It also works surprisingly well with streaming apps like Netflix or Google TV. You can double-tap to pause or play, or hold down to skip forward. It’s a small feature that makes the phone feel more fluid and personal in day-to-day use.
A feature that redefines convenience
The GT Trigger shows that shoulder buttons don’t have to be just for gaming. Infinix managed to make them versatile enough for both play and productivity, which helps the Infinix GT 30 stand out in the crowded gaming phone scene.
You can see Aurora Gaming test the Infinix GT 30 on the official Infinix Facebook page. Infinix is also hosting the Infinix XLABAN Showmatch, where fans can join gaming creators Cherizawa, Athena, Jayat Gaming, and Uomi for a 5v5 showdown using the GT 30.
