Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) joined the Philippine GameDev Expo (PGDX) 2026 as the event’s main presenter. The company used the three-day event to show its latest gaming services and its partnership with Blacknut.
PGDX 2026 was held from July 24 to 26 at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City. The event brought together game developers, publishers, creators, and gaming fans.
One of Smart’s main highlights was Blacknut Cloud Gaming. The service is now available to Smart and TNT subscribers.
Blacknut gives users access to more than 1,000 console- and PC-quality games. Without buying expensive gaming hardware or downloading large game files, users can enjoy playing these games.

Weekly subscriptions start at PHP 145. Smart and TNT subscribers can access the service through blacknut.com/p/smart. Smart Prepaid users can pay using their load after completing an OTP verification.
Visitors at the Smart booth also got to try Blacknut during PGDX 2026. The booth had different activities, with prizes such as gaming skin codes up for grabs.
Smart also featured its Power All offers at the event. These offers come with open-access data that can be used for gaming, streaming, sharing content, and online work or school.
“Gaming continues to be one of the fastest-growing passions among Filipinos,” said Lloyd R. Manaloto, FVP and OIC of Smart. He added that Smart wants to provide better digital experiences through reliable connectivity and partnerships such as Blacknut.
Smart said its participation in PGDX 2026 is part of its goal to support the local gaming community. The company also wants to make gaming services more accessible to Filipinos.
Smart also highlighted its mobile network’s recent recognition for Best Mobile Video Experience and Best Mobile Latency in the Philippines.
With Blacknut and its gaming-focused offers, Smart continues to expand its gaming services for Filipino gamers.
