Ookla has recognized Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) for delivering the Best Mobile Video Experience in the Philippines for the second consecutive year.
Based on Speedtest Intelligence data for the first half of 2026, Smart achieved a Video Score of 72.82. That score considered the highest among mobile operators in the country.
The recognition measures the real-world Quality of Experience (QoE) of mobile video streaming, considering video start times, uninterrupted playback, and Full HD resolution. Ookla’s score reflects users who experience videos starting in less than two seconds, no rebuffering, and 1080p or higher resolution in most sessions.
For Smart and TNT subscribers, this translates to faster-loading videos, smoother playback, and clearer HD streaming, whether watching livestreams, series, short-form content, or live sports.
