Xiaomi Philippines just released its latest budget 5G-ready smartphone, the REDMI 15 5G, highlighting a massive battery capacity.

The REDMI 15 5G is powered by a large 7,000mAh battery capacity that is claimed to deliver 2.26 days of light usage and up to 25 hours of video playback.
For longevity, this battery has up to 1,600 charge cycles before reaching 80 percent of its capacity.
While having a big battery, Xiaomi only puts a 33W fast charging support and an 18W reverse charging power bank mode. For me, a 33W charging support can already be considered slow for its battery capacity.
Under the hood, it features a 6nm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 octa-core chipset with Adreno 620 GPU. It is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 expandable internal storage.
It is also claimed that it achieved a benchmark score of over 490,000 on AnTuTu, which is decent for its price.
Moreover, the REDMI 15 5G features a large 6.9-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and Wet Touch Technology. It is also TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certified, TÜV Rheinland Circadian Friendly Certified, and TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Certified.
You can also get decent photos with its 50MP main shooter and 8MP selfie camera. It also comes with interesting camera features like AI Erase, AI Sky, Auto Night Mode, and selfie beauty mode.
This budget phone features a classy quad-curved design that gives an ergonomic grip. It also has IP64 dust and water resistance, and is available in Ripple Green, Titan Gray, and Midnight Black colorways.
For a price of PHP 7,999 and based on its spec sheet, we can consider this phone worth buying as it already has a decent chipset, battery capacity, and a great display. However, its 4GB RAM will surely be lacking, although it still depends on the real-world usage. We suggest checking some reviews first before buying the REDMI 15 5G.
