Otaku Pop Fes is set to make its Philippine debut on April 25–26, 2026, at Okada Manila, bringing together anime, music, cosplay, and live entertainment in a two-day Japanese pop culture event.

The festival was officially announced during a press conference held at Okada Manila’s Glass Ballroom. Designed as a multi-day experience, Otaku Pop Fes aims to showcase licensed Japanese pop culture content through exhibitions, live performances, and interactive activities for both longtime fans and newcomers.

Otaku Pop Fes will take place across two venues within Okada Manila. The Ballroom will host anime exhibition booths and stage programs, while Cove Manila will be dedicated to cosplay activities, Japanese pop culture showcases, and evening music concerts.

During the press conference, Otaku Pop Fes representative Osaki Akinori shared that the event was created to deliver a more authentic Japanese pop culture experience in the Philippines.

According to Osaki, the goal is to provide fans with a space where anime, music, and live performances can be enjoyed in a way that respects and represents Japanese culture.

The event will feature licensed Japanese intellectual properties, themed booths, interactive exhibits, and on-stage programs.

Music is a major part of Otaku Pop Fes. A preview video featuring UNIS was shown during the press conference, teasing the live performances planned at Cove Manila.

Organizers confirmed that the lineup will include Japanese artists, local performers, and special guests, with more announcements expected in the coming weeks.

Okada Manila, the official venue partner, reaffirmed its support for the festival. Kenji Sugiyama, Managing Director for Corporate Management and Administration, highlighted the venue’s strong ties to Japanese culture and its role in hosting international entertainment events.
