For those who missed the news, HUAWEI has already released its new powerful 3-in-1 tablet, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025), which retails for only PHP 49,999.

Upgrade your productivity and creativity with the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025)

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) is equipped with a 12.2-inch OLED FullView PaperMatte display with 2.8K resolution, 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2,880Hz PWM dimming, and up to 2,000nits max brightness.

Its display also supports the HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd Gen), with over 16,000 levels of pressure sensitivity, perfect for note-taking, drawing, and editing with a pen-on-paper feel. If you’re a designer, you can utilize the included GoPaint app that supports 8K canvas resolution and various types of brushes that can produce lifelike oil simulations and watercolor effects.

Moreover, this device also supports the HUAWEI Glide Keyboard that feels like a laptop keyboard. I have tried the keyboard and trackpad when I visited a HUAWEI store, and I can say that it really feels premium and responsive. Besides, this keyboard also has a dedicated slot for the stylus pen.

You can also do basic photography with this device as it has a 50MP main camera alongside an 8MP wide-angle lens for the rear camera setup, while an 8MP camera is at the front.

For doing heavy tasks and productivity, this tablet features a Kirin T92A octa-core chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. It also runs HarmonyOS 4.3 out of the box.

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) is powered by a large 10,100mAh battery that is claimed to provide up to 14 hours of juice in a single charge. While you can fully charge it in just 55 minutes since it supports 100W fast charging.

As for the design, it looks minimalist since it only has a HUAWEI branding at the center of its back and a circular camera island. This tablet only comes in Green colorway, but if you are using its folio keyboard/case, its back is not visible. It is also quite lightweight since the tablet alone weighs only 512g.

Other features of the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, OTG, PC data synchronization, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port, quad speakers, and quad microphones.

With its powerful and advanced features, I can easily recommend this tablet for those users who are into digital creation, heavy productivity, or who want a PC-level tablet. For me, the price is reasonable, although I haven’t fully tested it, only a quick test in a physical store.

Price and Availability

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) is priced at PHP 49,999 and is now available through HUAWEI Experience stores, HUAWEI Online Store, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

Early buyers can receive a promotional bundle worth PHP 28,895, including the HUAWEI Glide Keyboard (worth PHP 9,999), HUAWEI M-Pencil 3rd Gen, HUAWEI Watch Fit 3, a Bluetooth Mouse, and PC-level WPS Office. Voucher promotions run until August 18 on select platforms.
