TECNO Mobile and DITO Telecommunity have partnered to launch a gaming-focused bundle in the local market. The set includes two new smartphones and a SIM card that is meant to keep up with fast-paced online play.
TECNO and DITO Team Up for the Ultimate Gaming Bundle
It is not just about the hardware here. The idea is to offer a complete setup for players who want a phone that can handle modern games and a connection that will not drop mid-match.
First in the lineup is the POVA Curve 5G. This one is priced at PHP 11,999 and comes with a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display that runs at 144Hz. It uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor and starts with 8GB RAM, which can be expanded to 16GB through virtual memory. The 5,500mAh battery supports 45W fast charging, and there is also 10W reverse charging for other gadgets.
The POVA 7 Ultra 5G is the higher-end model at PHP 16,999. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 5G chip and can go up to 24GB RAM including extended memory. Battery capacity is 6,000mAh with 70W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. The design is a little more flashy, featuring a “Status Light” for notifications.
According to TECNO, the POVA 7 Ultra 5G is also the official phone for the PUBG Mobile Super League Southeast Asia and the Honor of Kings Philippines Kings League. From August 8 to 14, it will be sold on TECNO’s TikTok Shop Super Brand Day with discounts and a free 5,000mAh wireless power bank.
The DITO Prepaid Gaming SIM is part of the bundle. Opensignal has ranked DITO as the fastest mobile network in the country, and the company says its 5G service is tuned for low-latency gaming and smooth streaming. That means fewer lag spikes and fewer drops in connection during matches.
