Nothing Phone (3) is now official with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4! (1)

Nothing Phone (3) launched with new Glyph Matrix technology!

The new Nothing Phone (3) features the new Glyph Matrix technology, an improved version of the Glyph Interface. Well, this new LED interface is now more detailed and displays app-specific alerts, personalized contact notifications, and real-time indicators such as timers and battery status.

Although a lot of fans didn’t like its design due to the placement of cameras and the Glyph Matrix. For me, its design still stands out because of its uniqueness, and I haven’t seen one like that before. But compared to the previous flagship phones of Nothing, I preferred the looks of the new Phone (3).

This device comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main shooter, a 50MP periscope lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. At the front, there’s also a 50MP camera module that allows to provide outstanding selfies. In addition, its camera can shoot up to 4K@60fps video resolution.

Nothing highlights its camera system as built for creators because of the bigger sensors that result in 44% more light, 70% faster exposure, and 5cm closer macro shots compared to the Phone (3a) and Phone (2).

Nothing Phone (3) is now official with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4!

Under the hood, it is equipped with the latest 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 octa-core chipset. While it doesn’t feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, it can still deliver flagship performance since its chipset is also very powerful and efficient. According to Nothing, the processing speed of its chipset is 125% faster than the Phone (2).

Moreover, its chipset is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage, and an AI engine.

For battery, it is powered by a large 5,150mAh battery capacity that supports 65W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. While we haven’t known how efficient the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is, this phone is still expected to provide enough juice.

Price and Availability

The pre-order of the new Nothing Phone (3) in the Philippines will start from July 4 at the official website of Nothing. However, it is priced in India for INR 79,999 (around PHP 52.6K) for the 12/256GB variant, while INR 89,999 (around PHP 59.2K) for the 16GB/512GB variant.

We don’t have any information about its local pricing yet. So, stay tuned!
