Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) is bringing AI-powered wearable technology to the Philippines with the launch of the Rokid AI Glasses bundled with Smart Postpaid plans starting May 29, 2026.
In partnership with Rokid, Smart becomes the first Philippine telco to offer AI smart glasses integrated with Google Gemini, giving users access to advanced AI tools in a lightweight wearable device.
The Rokid AI Glasses are available for Smart Postpaid Plans+ 1499 subscribers starting at PHP 28,800 via straight payment, while Smart Infinity members can get the device free under Plan 8000.
Hands-free AI experience
Powered by Google Gemini, the Rokid AI Glasses allow users to interact with AI naturally using voice commands. Users can ask questions, generate content, manage tasks, summarize information, and even translate languages in real time without reaching for their smartphones.
The international version of the wearable also supports additional AI models including ChatGPT from OpenAI, DeepSeek, and Alibaba’s Qwen.
Built for daily productivity and content creation
The lightweight 49g wearable is designed for creators, travelers, and professionals.
It features a built-in 12MP camera for POV-style content capture, making it useful for vlogging and social media content. The glasses also offer private audio for immersive listening experiences.
Travelers can use the device for AI-assisted navigation and translation, while professionals can benefit from productivity-focused tools like teleprompter support and AI transcription features.
Smart Postpaid and Infinity inclusions
Subscribers under Smart Postpaid Plans+ 1499 will also get 40GB open-access data, 12 months of Unli 5G, Unli AllNet Calls and Texts, and Unli Landline Calls.
Meanwhile, Smart Infinity members on Plans 5000 and 8000 receive unlimited data, roaming services, premium lifestyle privileges, and dedicated customer support.
Smart says the AI-powered wearable experience is supported by its award-winning mobile network, recently recognized by Ookla for Best Mobile Video Experience and Best Mobile Latency.
The Rokid AI Glasses officially become available beginning May 29, 2026 at select Smart Stores nationwide.
