Infinix Mobile has quietly released the new Infinix HOT 60i in the Philippines ahead of the HOT 60 Pro+ launch. This phone is priced under PHP 8,000 and comes with a lot of upgraded features.
Infinix HOT 60i is now official in the Philippines!
The new Infinix HOT 60i features a large 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz, a maximum brightness of up to 700 nits, and an always-on display feature. While HD+ resolution is considered low for its price, it can still give a decent viewing experience.
For optics, the Infinix HOT 60i gets an upgrade to a 50MP main shooter along with an auxiliary lens and an 8MP selfie camera. Its camera can shoot up to 2K@30fps video resolution.
Under the hood, it also features a slight performance upgrade, arriving with a 12nm MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate octa-core chipset. This chipset is not very powerful for today’s standards, but it is enough for basic apps and light gaming. This chipset is designed to balance camera, performance, and AI capabilities.
The Infinix HOT 60i also arrived with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and large 256GB internal storage. Its memory is already efficient, but I suggest getting the 8GB variant instead of the 4GB variant. 4GB RAM today may give a few hiccups in multitasking and overall performance.
Another upgrade on this phone is its battery; the Infinix HOT 60i is now powered by a large 5,1260mAh battery, which can deliver up to a whole day of juice. This device now supports a faster 45W wired fast charging and 10W reverse charging, a significant upgrade to the previous 18W wired charging.
In addition, this phone features LTE connectivity, dual nano SIM, DTS audio, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, OTG, Wi-Fi 6, Widvine L1, and an IP64 dust & water resistance rating.
Lastly, the Infinix HOT 60i is available in Sleek Black, Titanium Silver, Shadow Blue, Neon Red, Meadow Green, and Soul Eye Purple.
