Plus, it already has built-in AI editing features that you can use to enhance your photos. While its AI image-to-video feature is a great bonus when you buy this phone, since you don’t have to subscribe to third-party apps just to create those moving photos.
2. Immersive AMOLED Display
The next best feature of the HONOR 400 5G is its high-quality display. This device features a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and up to 5,000 nits max brightness.
You will be enjoying watching, scrolling, or playing games on this phone since its display is very vibrant and crisp. If you’re not a fan of very large displays, you’ll appreciate its size since it is relatively small compared to other midrange phones today.

5. All-Day Battery Life in a Compact Body
If you have already watched my review vlog, you saw how I’m glad about its design. Even though it has a massive 6,000mAh battery that can power the device for up to two days, it is still compact and lightweight.
To give you an idea of its battery life in a real-world scenario, I went to an event yesterday and used it for listening to Spotify and playing Mobile Legends while on the commute, checking Google Maps, shooting photos and videos, and browsing social media and it took around 12 hours before it down to 20% battery life.
My usage yesterday can be considered heavy, so if you are just a casual user who doesn’t use their phone all the time, it can probably give you up to one or two days of usage.
Final Thoughts
The new HONOR 400 5G is indeed a great midrange smartphone for its price, as it gives well beyond sufficient features, especially those AI features that can be used in our daily tasks. However, this phone is not perfect as it is hyped because it also has shortcomings, like the absence of a dedicated telephoto lens and a reused chipset, which other phones already have.
I highly suggest watching a lot of reviews before pulling the trigger, since everyone has a different perspective and demand for a smartphone. You’ll likely get insight that matches your needs and expectations. But for its price, I can say that it is still worth buying.
