HUAWEI is to launch the new MatePad 11.5 (2025) in the Philippines, aiming to deliver PC-like experience, paper-like writing, and pro-level creation with the GoPaint app.

HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 (2025) is now official!
One of the highlights of the MatePad 11.5 (2025) is its focus on PC-like performance. The tablet works with the HUAWEI Smart Keyboard, which has a slim clip-on design and supports both PC and Split layouts. It has 1.5mm key travel, making typing feel more natural, and also includes shortcut function keys for quicker navigation.
The device also ships with a full version of WPS Office instead of the limited tablet edition. This means users can access spreadsheets with formulas, presentations with animations, and documents with a familiar PC-style interface. Combined with the detachable keyboard, the tablet is designed to switch between work and casual use more smoothly.
Multi-taskers will also find some improvements. The updated Floating Multi-Window feature allows up to three different window ratios, making it easier to juggle apps like a document, a browser, and notes on the 11.5-inch display.
For those who use their tablets for writing or drawing, HUAWEI has added upgrades through the Notes app and the new GoPaint software. The Notes app now supports AI handwriting enhancement, which cleans up messy penmanship, and offers new brushes such as 2B pencil, felt-tip pen, and calligraphy tools.
The GoPaint app, meanwhile, is a first for HUAWEI’s midrange line, giving digital artists a platform with professional-level brushes and textures. Both apps work best with the HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd Gen), which can be wirelessly charged by snapping onto the tablet.
Perhaps the most striking feature is the new PaperMatte Display. Built with nano-level etching and coatings, the screen cuts down glare and reflections, making it easier to use outdoors or in bright offices. It also mimics the feel of writing on real paper, adding texture to the pen input.
Eye comfort has also been given attention. The screen uses circularly polarized light technology for softer, more natural-looking illumination and comes with certifications for reduced blue light and flicker-free viewing. With a resolution of 2456 x 1600 and peak brightness of 600 nits, visuals stay sharp whether for reading, streaming, or working.
The MatePad 11.5 (2025) weighs only 515g and is just 6.1mm thick, housed in a metal unibody available in Violet and Space Gray. Inside is a 10,100mAh battery that lasts up to 14 hours of video playback. Charging is also relatively quick, with 40W SuperCharge bringing it to full in about an hour and a half.
