Nothing brings Charli xcx onboard as shareholder and global ambassador

Nothing is expanding its connection with the creative industry after officially partnering with Charli xcx, who now joins the company as both a Shareholder and its first Global Brand Ambassador.

Known for her bold approach to pop music and visual identity, Charli becomes part of a growing network of creatives supporting the brand, alongside names such as The Weeknd, Casey Neistat, and Swedish House Mafia.

According to Charli, the partnership was driven by a shared focus on creativity and experience.

“When I’m creating, I’m always thinking about how my work will be experienced out in the world and I love how Nothing headphones sound and are designed,” she shared. “Its ethos of prioritising creatives is really something I look for when working with a partner.”

Carl Pei said the partnership represents the kind of direction the company wants to pursue moving forward.

“The tech industry has spent a decade making everything quieter, more minimal, more monotonous,” Pei explained. “Charli has spent her career going the other way in pop. We want Nothing to feel more like that.”

To celebrate the collaboration, Nothing launched a new campaign called “NOTHING (CHARLI XCX),” filmed in London by creative collaborator Aidan Zamiri. The campaign showcases Nothing Headphone (a), with Charli wearing the headphones for five straight days to demonstrate its claimed 135-hour battery life.

The announcement also follows Nothing’s recent US$200 million Series C funding round, which raised the company’s valuation to US$1.3 billion as it continues expanding its presence in both technology and culture.
