While both models feature a bespoke camera design, it’s only the Pro model that has an interchangeable camera frame, the non-Pro model is not customizable (via GSMArena).

That being said, both smartphones are developed jointly with renowned camera series Rico GR, incorporating the camera’s imaging capabilities on the flagship duo, including an anti-glare lens for the main camera.

Since the camera frame can be replaced on the Pro model, the company is also releasing the 3MF model file so advanced users can customize it to their own, according to Revü.

Both the realme GT8 and GT8 Pro use a triple-camera setup, with differences on the sensors. The GT8 has a 50MP main, a 50MP periscope telephoto with OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.

Meanwhile, the GT8 Pro has a 50MP main, a 200MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50MP ultra-wide.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 7,000mAh battery

The realme GT8 Pro is powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while the GT8 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, released in 2024, with memory configurations ranging up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

More features are present on both phones, such as the in-display fingerprint sensor and the Android 16-based realme UI 7.0.
